How We Make Money

CardSwitchr may earn a commission when you click on an "Apply Now" link and are approved for a credit card. These are called affiliate commissions. This is how we keep the service free for you.

Our Recommendations Are Not Influenced by Compensation

Our rewards calculator is algorithm-driven. When you upload your bank statement, we calculate points and cash value for every card in our database using the same formula — your actual spending multiplied by each card's published rewards rates. The ranking is determined entirely by the math, not by which card pays us the most.

We display all cards we support regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with the issuer. Cards without affiliate links still appear in your results and are ranked the same way.

Which Links Are Affiliate Links?

"Apply Now" buttons and "Apply" links on our site may be affiliate links. These links take you directly to the card issuer's application page. We clearly mark these links throughout the site.

Not all cards on our site have affiliate links. Whether or not a card has an affiliate link does not affect its position in our rankings or the information we display about it.

Our Editorial Standards

• All rewards calculations are based on publicly available card terms and your actual spending data.
• Rankings are determined by estimated rewards value, not by affiliate compensation.
• We display the same card information (rewards rates, annual fees, signup bonuses) regardless of affiliate relationships.
• We regularly update card data to reflect the latest published terms from each issuer.

Your Cost

Using our affiliate links does not cost you anything extra. You receive the same card terms, rewards rates, and signup bonuses whether you apply through our link or directly through the card issuer's website.

We may have affiliate relationships with credit card issuers and financial institutions including but not limited to Chase and Capital One. The specific partners and terms may change over time.
